Tuscany has a long tradition of Trebbiano cultivation, and Baracchi’s Brut Trebbiano Metodo Classico is the true expression of the grape. The Baracchi’s great care and expertise go into the production of this delightful sparkling wine; selecting only the finest Trebbiano grapes from the harvest and fermenting them on the skins for 10 days at low temperatures, the resulting wine will transport you to a warm summer night in Tuscany. Served on its own as an aperitif or paired with traditional Tuscan appetizers like pecorino cheese and cured meats, or with fine caviar and sushi, the Trebbiano is a treat to drink and brings a sense of cache and sparkle to any occasion.
A soft mousse with fine perlage, Trebbiano’s bubbles are fresh and full-bodied. Pale yellow with canary reflections and fleeting hints of greens in the glass. On the palate the Trebbiano has inklings of pear and citrus fruits with flavors of mint and a light almond finish. This is an elegant, beautifully balanced and expressive wine.
