Carlin de Paolo Terre Alferi Arneis

From its vineyards in Piedmont, Monferrato, Alfieri Hills, Asti and San Damiano d’Asti, the Arneis grows on 20 – 30 year old vines at 250 – 300m in altitude on sandy, clayey, and calcareous soil with exposure to a typical mediterranean climate. The resulting wine is straw yellow with greenish nuances after thermo-conditioning in tanks at about 12 degrees Celcius for 30 days.

The Arneis has prevailing floral aromas of white flowers reminiscent of springtime; delicate with soft fruit notes of apple and pineapple. It is a clean, dry and very enjoyable wine that matches perfectly with fish and white meat. It is also lovely as an aperitif.
